Creating a new feature for the Chart platform from low-fidelity sketches to high-fidelity prototype.
We started with low-fidelity sketches to try out many different layout options. We sorted and grouped these sketches by similarities in layout and functionality.
1. Initial Low-Fidelity Wireframe Sketches
2. Medium-Fidelity Sketches
Based on the low-fidelity sketches we created 4 medium-fidelity sketches with similar functionality but diverging layouts in order to validate which layout best suited the needs of the user. These sketches were the basis of the first digital mockups we created for this feature.
3. Medium-Fidelity Wireframes
After the second round of sketches, we began using Figma to create low-fidelity mockups. We ultimately arrived at 3 medium-fidelity versions that we were able to test with a small focus group of users to get feedback on which version best suited their needs.
